Love Cima & Stef with dogs
I probably considered by most as a very intense person, I have many irons in the fire and run like the fully with everything I do and is a workaholic for as long as I may decide. I always go into everything to 200%. I have two wonderful kids Flisan 13 years and Phille 10 years.
My animals o contest began with horses and I have competed eventing but above showjumping. The horses were in my life for many years. When the first baby came, so it was not as easy to connect the trailer to go to training or contest. Steps therefore down with the horses.
We have had dogs in the family home since 1977 so it has always been a natural part of my life. I trained and competed a little sporadic with our golden at a young age. Then got my first "own" a dog in 1987, it was Charlie, a wonderful dalmatian male who was with me, just everywhere. We competed a little obedience (hmm, according to him, quite unnecessary :-) He got in recent years also compete agility as he turned in properly. He left us too early in 1996 due cancer.
Other dalmatian who came to us in 1991 was Perdita's Make Believe "Spotty". She was supposed to be an exhibition of star-sized dimensions. Absolutely the best possible pedigree, purchased from Norway after all art rules. But oh, she was an "ugly DUCKLING" taken 8 teeth, was far too small. But she went straight into everyone's hearts. We competed obedience up to class II and even if she had the perfect hole in the mouth to add apporten in as well,,, it was not fun to wear things when someone asked one about it. Someone said that we could indeed start training agility so we got up a little better contact. We got stuck. In early Spotty did everything crazy, ran out of runway and stole candy of people, ran and played with people who were outside, etc. .. There are many stories. But it did not take long until everything fell down at madame and she was soon under the name "dot racing". Spotty was SAgCh (Swedish Agility Champion), won two SM-Guld in TEAM. 5 SM competed individually with the best individual placement 5th. She left us in 2002 when the body does not really dried longer. Promise that many remember her with a smile.
In the meantime, with dalmatian so Border collie came into my life for real, now you probably think that aha, she would have a quick agility dog but it was not. We had good friends of the family who was very active with his border collies in sheep hearding and I said that the day when I live so I can have animals and access to heard and have the right training opportunities for BC, such as in my hands.
The first that came to us was Emmalundas Hassel, 1994. Wonderful guy. We competed hearding, agility (winner of SM-TEAM 2 times), higher SEARCH, obedience class III. Unfortunately, injuries to Hassel for quite an early age in a foreleg, so he retired then. Now, however, was continued choise of breed simple.
Hassels little sister Ida came to us but ended her days already 1.5 years old when it was wrong on the kidneys.
In 1996, the fantastic Finn-valles Kellie into my life. It's probably only once in life that we must take such a gem .. She literally thrown into my life. O We were watching a small farm and those who lived in the house saw that we had BC decals on the car and said then that they also had border collie. They would separate then and could not have one policy remains. She was 1 years o they asked if we could help to relocate her. I said ok came here with her so we will see what it is. Talk about success. Kellie had not had the best conditions the first year of life as an ordinary man had probably gone crazy and not even dared to think of to keep her. But she and I found each other o ALL was on place. Much work had to be done to get her to land but the dog. Those who received the honor to take part of Kellie know exactly what I mean. She has competed in 3 obedience SM, agility. Highest class in hearding both with sheep and stock. Mom to 4 litters puppies. Given name to our kennel. I could write a book about this dog.
Then the dog population has increased o decreased in periods depending on the job, children, etc..
